We got a letter from Ivan Yeats about the proposal we sent to the Minister for Sports and Tourism and also another application form for the VEC.

A letter arrived from the VEC and a cheque for £136. We had succeeded in getting more money for the club. The letter said that the number of applications were up 30% on the previous year. They were hoping to ask the Irish Sports Council for more funding for the next year.
