skatepark extension
Since the skatepark was finished in January 2007 and then officially opened in April 2007, the need to extend it has always been talked about. We feel that it does as some design faults need to be addressed. We all know the fence is an issue and also the size of the skatepark and what it has to offer. The fence has been replaced after it got damaged. The council are adamant that they have no more funds to spend on the facility , so its up to US, not just the skateclub , but YOU too. That is why we have started our campaign to get the skatepark extended. Goreyskateclub needs YOU. If you skate in Gorey, please remember that Goreyskateclub with the help of the Wexford Co. Council fought for the skatepark. The skateclub now needs your help - please join the club to support our campaign to get the facility extended. Fundraising is going to have to be done also. If you have any ideas or want to help us fundraise, please get in touch.skatepark location map
